interplay of light and shadow,
a dance of contrasts,
completeness in its own,
a presence both pleasing and fearful,
a powerful duality radiating depth and dimension,
within this dimension lies the essence of transition and change,
a state suspended between movement and standstill,
a silent dialogue between the conscious and the subconscious,
where light gives form and shadow gives weight,
where illumination reveals,
yet darkness conceals,
each side profound,
each side vital,
together weaving a net of existence.

moving clouds,
observing the fleeting moment,
a moment captured in endless movement,
movement that following its own principles,
principles overlooked,
overlooked by the pace of development,
development, higher, fast, further,
further into the unknown,
hold in,
watch up the clouds,
in synergy with light,
reflecting onto the clouds,
colors emerging,
emerging into a moment,
a moment captured in endless motion.

speaking in silence,
like a koi fish in a pond,
is it looking for answers?
probably not,
or are we underestimating
the simple existence of a life form,
other than our own?
reflecting on it
just highlights comparison,
always thinking we are the center of the world.
amongst human beings,
just the same —
hate, inequality, inequity,
too much to be burdened about.
and the koi fish,
fighting for his own survival,
sometimes bothered by us,
sometimes just doing his own thing,
separated and united.
let that sink in.

forest bathing,
natural colors around me,
filled with tranquility,
filled with the desire to shut down my system,
a system that is often overheating,
overheating from the overwhelming information,
information to fast to comprehend,
forest bathing resets,
rests what is often unspoken,
this peace and relaxation is what we need,
need as humankind,
paired with love and kindness for the complexity,
complexity of our world,
i believe it could go a long way.

the moon,
shining bright up in the sky,
its glow both tender and intense,
sometimes unnerves me,
yet i watch with awe,
full of uncertainty,
full of humility,
aware of my own insignificance,
knowing that humankind often overestimates itself,
too often reaching beyond what it can hold.
still, the moon lingers,
unmoved by our ambitions,
constant, yet distant,
a quiet reminder
of our smallness, our fleeting moments,
and the vast, enduring calm beyond.

early morning,
the sound, the smell,
first sunbeams touch the mango trees,
early risers on the move,
heavily packed with goods for the market,
moving with the rise of the sun,
guided by hope and purpose,
their steps a quiet promise —
a purpose that serves not just themselves
but the heartbeat of the community.
boda bodas swirl up the red dust,
red dust that warms the air,
an atmosphere tranquil yet alive.
dust and sunbeams in harmony,
creating sensations ---
sensations of belonging,
a sense of rhythm within the flow of life.
the vastness and richness of life unfold in these hours,
where the essence of existence resides.
to simply be,
and yet to move with purpose,
woven into the fabric of others’ lives.
darkness and light,
as simple as that,
and yet endlessly intertwined,
revealing not only black and white,
but the infinite grey tones that shape us.
the smell of small shops opening,
preparing their foods and drinks,
mingles with the morning air,
life awakening with a shared pace ---
fast and slow,
chaotic yet calm,
a rhythm born of interconnected lives.
in this interplay of contrasts,
we find the essence of being —
to live,
to serve,
to belong.

community as a net,
a net that carries the message forward:
we are because of our surroundings,
shaped, guided, and intertwined by community.
we do not work alone.
we are because I see myself in you.
i see myself in you.
everything is an expression of the self,
a reflection of oneness, kindness, and support.
to provide a helping hand —
when was the last time you did this?
there is no self without others,
no existence without community.
community is beauty:
the beauty of care,
the beauty of knowing
we cannot live alone.

a cup of tea,
no matter the time of day
or the season,
be gentle.
let the tea guide you,
through moments, through time,
bringing warmth and inner peace.
a daily practice —
to pause, to breathe.
let thoughts and emotions
come and go,
like clouds passing by.
sit calmly,
with a cup that brings you joy,
that clears the mind's fog
or lets its rain pour freely,
washing away disturbance.
a quiet reflection,
a moment of being,
found in a single cup of tea.
let it be.

organic simplicity,
a flower blooming,
following the light,
essential for the vital elements of life,
growing and blooming,
all in its own time,
we find comfort, contentment and modesty,
we find distress, confusion, unknowing,
it goes its path,
one way or another,
all in its own time,
perhaps one day it shines bright

imagination changes worlds,
creativity can add to it,
imagination builds what is not there, yes,
a cityscape of chairs,
almost seen as a skyline,
with its own life,
a life hidden.
imagination is understood as a meaningful tool,
to change and to challenge,
tensions of subject and object,
expanding your consciousness,
constructed around being, thinking, and sensing.
imagination is what thrives our human experience,
what changes physical spaces
as well as how people feel about them.

colours of autumn,
a season fades,
a new one rises.
the air, fresh —
breathe in, breathe out.
a new season,
coexisting with the past.
past and present,
both here,
in this moment of "you are here."
a dance:
experience and opportunity,
focus and fragmentation,
like falling leaves —
not the end,
but the beginning of new life.
clearing the mind,
complexity into simplicity,
inaction into in action.
between growth and comfort,
between fear and love,
between "you can do anything"
and "you cannot do everything."
here, with the new season —
embrace it.
it is the right time.
the right time to love,
to believe,
to simply live,
like trees,
moving through the seasons.

window stories,
from the comfort of your home,
you gaze outside,
into the unknown.
each window holds a world,
a quiet view of lives unfolding.
each window tells a story,
each story framed by a window.
brick by brick, it becomes a picture,
a still moment of fleeting life.
this window shows a quiet scene -
simple joys, the touch of green,
a girl running, the softness of the earth,
homes built with hands and hope.
the green feels alive,
vivid, fresh, breathing,
a contrast to the stillness within.
the village hums with untold tales,
lives lived far from your own.
these stories are not yours,
but in your gaze, they transform,
shaped by imagination,
by the distance between observer and life.
window stories,
countless and untold,
each a fragment of something larger,
each a moment waiting to be seen.
