Window Stories - Calendar 2026

We gaze through windows—portals between the inside and the outside world. They frame mystic, scenic landscapes. They host moments of community, places to rest and observe. We watch the buzzing world: the colors of houses, people on the move, cars passing—paced by external forces. Sometimes quiet, like sheep grazing. Sometimes noisy, like children playing. Sometimes like nature’s symphony — birds singing, leaves rustling. Windows - we open them to let in the scent of a freshly cooked meal. We close them to keep the world at bay. We see buildings filled with endless lives and stories untold. We sip coffee and watch raindrops trace paths down the glass. We look out, and sometimes we look in. Looking through the window means looking at the complexity, diversity and identity of being. Through windows, we long. We belong. We receive, we reject. We know, we doubt. We feel, we see. We connect, we distance. We be.

This year’s calendar is presented as a collection of assorted sheets, allowing you to arrange and display it entirely as you wish. Printed on a mix of transparent paper and high-quality bamboo paper from Awagami Factory in Japan, the materials are chosen for their longevity, texture, and framing potential.

All prints are locally produced using archival-quality processes that ensure rich tonal depth and lasting visual integrity.

Housed in a paper portfolio folder, every calendar is handmade—embracing the spirit of wabi-sabi, where small variations reflect the care and time invested in each piece. The calendar features a range of paper types, sizes, and designs, thoughtfully curated to create a tactile and visual experience.

This is not just a calendar—it’s a modular artwork: 10 sheets of transparent paper, 3 printed on Japanese bamboo paper, and 1 postcard. A quiet companion for the year ahead.

The bamboo prints are especially suited for framing—not only because of the premium Awagami paper, but also due to the exceptional print quality that brings each image to life with depth and clarity.

Only 20 pieces are available.

Feel free to contact me. The calendar is only available on a donation basis.
